Description of Route: This route will start in Ouray, CO and follow the epic dirt road up Camp Bird Road to Imogene Pass at 13,114-ft msl and then drop down into Telluride, CO. From Telluride the ride continues on Deep Creek Trail to Lost Dollar Road which will bring riders over to Dallas Divde. From there the route will continue onto the epic Dallas Trail which will drop everyone back into Ouray for a complete loop around Mt. Sneffels.

Detailed Directions:
1. Follow Main St. south to Camp Bird Road FS 361. Follow Camp Bird Road to the old mining town of Sneffels (10,610-ft). Turn right and follow FS 869 onto Imogene Pass. There are directional signs to the pass at all major intersections from here. Imogene Pass is at 13,114-ft elevation.
2. Once at Imogene Pass, descend FS 869 aka Tomboy Road down into Telluride. Water and food are available at Baked in Telluride., which is located at 127 South Fir. After restocking food and water in Telluride (if needed), head north on North Aspen to the Tr. 432 trailhead.
3. Follow Tr. 432 for 0.7 miles to Jub Wiebe Trail, and turn left and then onto Mill Creek Trail aka Waterline Trail aka Tr. 419 for 3.4 miles to where it becomes Deep Creek Trail (Tr 418), and follow this west for 5.4 miles to the Deep Creek Trailhead at Last Dollar Road.
4. (Note: this section appears best on the National Geographic Map and is not shown entirely on the Telluride Map) Turn right on Last Dollar Road for 0.9 miles, and the continue on past the turnoff for Deep Creek Road and follow Last Dollar Road for ~18-miles all the way to CO HWY 62. Turn right and ride the pavement east toward Ridgway until West Dallas Creek Road (County Road 9 aka FS 850) appears on your right – turn here. Follow West Dallas Creek Road all the way (~7-miles) until you intersect Dallas Tr. 200 at the Box Factory Park.
(Note West Dallas Creek Road pass through Double RL Ranch <Ralph Lauren’s summer place> – but you have right of way access on this road – ignore the big Double RL Ranch pine log entrance on the road. Also note there are several water sources along this route – more so, once on Dallas Trail though.)
5. Follow the Dallas Tr. 200 Route through the Blue Lakes Tr. 203 (very primitive route – includes a grassy-like trail) to Blaine Basin Tr. 203 all for 2.3 miles. Blaine Basin Tr. follows a rough flowing with many water crossings.
6. Turn left on Wilson Creek Tr. 202 through Ridgway Hut for 5.1 miles to Miller Mesa Road and turn right. The 1.1-mile section of Wilson Creek Trail at the start will be very, very tough - lots of hike-a-bike!
7. At Miller Mesa Road – note that this is a continuation of the Dallas Tr, and continue for 1.8 miles and look for the Dallas Trailhead at the Burn Hut and follow the Dallas Tr. for 4.3 miles down into the Ouray Valley to River Road. This is a wicked descent here ~2500-ft in 2.5 miles or so. Follow River Road 17 (turn right) for ~2.3 miles south into Ouray.
Finish! This route is roughly 75-miles and estimated to be 15,000-ft of climbing. However since much of the ride is at high elevation and on difficult single track or rocky double track, expect a significant time investment for completion.
